#1:  "when the night is over" - lord huron (**)

The largest injustice of the year has been fixed, as "When The Night Is Over" storms into first place. It becomes the first song to re-debut into the Top 10 at #1. What a jam, one of my favorites of the year. This song is the 4th No. 1 from Lord Huron's Vide Noir (Ancient Names, The Balancer's Eye, The Secret of Life)

2: "non-stop" - hamilton (*)

I saw Hamilton last week and I loved it! The chorus on this song is just toooo good!

#3: ​"i just wanna" - chrome sparks (*)

Another top 3 for Chrome Sparks, this track is soft and bouncy, the perfect chill track. Chrome Sparks has yet to grab a #1... (Still Think (No. 2), Rocket (No. 2), Wings (No. 2), O, Perfection (No. 3).  

#4: "take me to the disco" - ​meg myers (+)

One of my favorite albums, "Take Me To The Disco" serves up it's title track which comes in following the success of Tear Me To Pieces (No. 1), Some People (No. 1) and Constant (No. 2).

#5: ​"underwater" - rufus du sol (-4)

Rufus Du Sol finally notched a No. 1 from their upcoming album 'Solace' which is expected to drop this fall. This synthy sea track follows No Place (No. 3). 

Chart History: 3-1-5, Peak at #1

#6: "lost in time and space" (+1)

Lord Huron shoots back with another track barely making it in the top 5...the opener to their new album Vide Noir.

#7: "satisified" - the hamilton cast (*)

I saw Hamilton last week and I loved it, and this is one of the songs that really stands out to me. Don't worry, I'm easily satisfied! 

#8: "thunderclouds" - LSD (-3)

Following the success of Genius (No. 1) and Audio (No. 3), LSD marches on with their third single from their upcoming album. This one is soft but clashes in the refrain like a true thundercloud.

#9: "funeral" - meg myers (*)

Another Meg Myers song burning up on the Top 10, this penultimate track from her new album 'Take Me To The Disco' really hits hard about the style and abrasiveness of this album. 

#10: "time is up" - poppy (feat. diplo)

A new song from both Poppy and Diplo, the Daft Punk apocalyptic music is hitting up heavily through that epic chorus and those beautiful synth lines.
